The natural unspoilt beauty is a photographer’s paradise throughout the year. There are two self catering units with queen size beds, electric blankets for those cold winter nights, en suite bathrooms, kitchen and braai facilities.

Hare’s Rest is a mere one kilometer from the town’s restaurants, pubs, bioscope and antique shops. Situated on the Piet Retief Road (R543) on the outskirts of Wakkerstroom right next to the world renowned Wetlands.
