Dear guest, we appreciate and thank you for choosing Guest House Bavaria as your host. We are looking forward in receiving each one of you with a smile, as your comfort is our priority. Here is our agreement that needs to be ad hired when you make a reservation. Please take time to read our terms and conditions of the house bookings below.
All our accommodation prices include breakfast and VAT. Drinks from the bar, laundry, meals and telephone call are additional charges. We do accept payments in the following forms, debit cards, credit cards and cash payments at the reception. Credit cards incur 5% charges
2. Check-in & Check-out
Guest must check-in and check-out by the times stated below, or otherwise arrange if there’s any incontinence not to check out at the stated time zone.
• Check-in: As from 14:00 on the day of arrival
• Check-out by: 10:00 on day of departure
3. Cancellation, Return Deposit &Non-Arrival conditions
Guest who needs to cancel a reservation must contact us immediately. Already paid accommodations are only returned in accordance with the following conditions.
• Cancellation made 30 days or more in advance of arrival date = full deposit refund
• Cancellation made 15 days or less of arrival date = 50% refund
• Cancellations made 48 hrs or less of arrival date = No refund issued, full amount of reservation amount due.
Non-arrival guests, who are unable to attend or fail to attend for whatever reason forfeit their deposit paid and the full amount of the booking will be due. The guest house advices travelers to take out appropriate holiday/cancellation insurance where required.
4. WiFi and Appropriate Usage Policy
WiFi is free for the accommodated guest only and they are requested to use the WiFi internet access appropriately. The guest house may monitor the network performance and user usage in order to maintain a fair and high level of service to all users.
5. Damages, Lost Properties and Key lost
The guest house reserves the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of their stay. This includes breakages, spillages, stains damage to furniture or fixtures and fittings. Please note that, any damages should be reported immediately and the cost will be added to your room bill.
Lost keys will in cure N$80.00 charge for a replacement.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guest during a sty will be held for a period of 3 months, while we try to allocate and reunite lost property with their owners. We accept no responsibility in replacing lost items or transport cost to the owner and encourage guest to ensure they have all their belonging before checking-out.
6. Personal Details & Privacy
We are required to keep a register as per Namibian Tourism Board (NTB) guidelines, where all guests that made a booking is registered with their full names, Identity number or passport and nationality, details of next destination etc.
You accept that any entries you make in on-site the register book will not contain personal information or details you would want to disclose during that time. But can be sent via emails if needed.
On-site parking is provided for all type of vehicles, guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk.
8. Smoking Area
All guest rooms are non-smoking, we therefore do not allow guest to smoke in rooms for hygienic purposes for the next guest. Guest can smoke outside their rooms on the veranda that has a outside sitting area or in the garden. Should you be found smoking in the room a charge of N$300.00 will be made to your credit card to cover the extra cleaning of furnishing, air fresheners and fabrics.
