About Die Dorps-Akker Gastehuis

The Dorps-Akker Guest House with its hospitable character is well known in and around the Gauteng area as the perfect stay for your business trip. The relaxing and quiet atmosphere provides you with the rest and comfort that you require after your busy day.

Our guest house is known for its warm hospitality, cosy rooms and Karoo peace and quiet. We have wireless Internet facilities for our corporate and overseas guests as well as facilities for easy payment. We offer laundry services and serve dinner on request. There is a heated swimming pool for all guests' use and every guest receives their own remote for the gate. All the rooms are equipped with private entrances, en-suite bathrooms, televisions with DStv, kitchenettes with fridges, microwave ovens and kettles. The guest house was designed and decorated with great care and consideration, meeting every guest's special needs. A filling farm fresh breakfast is served in our dining area.

★★★★★ Apart from the DSTV not working (which wasn't really an issue for us, but may be for someone else), the room was clean and comfortable. Would have been nice to have the option of breakfast on the Sunday morning too.

★★★★★ The owner was very good for us. We could stay the last day for a long time. Our flight from OR Tambo was in the late evening. The room was neat and clean. Of course the pool was too. cold. Although it was very bad signposted we managed to visit Suikerbos Nature Reserve. There is hardly game to view.
