About Lodge 227, Mabalingwe Nature Reserve
This comfortable 4 sleeper (2 bedrooms en suite) is inside the Mabalingwe nature and game reserve.It is ideal for a quiet getaway from the busy city life. It is only 140km from Pretoria and 190km from Johannesburg (28km from Bela Bela). It is private and secluded. It boasts a small private pool, boma and outside braai facility. We welcome our guests, but we do request the highest respect for nature, the animals and our property. This lodge is unfortunately not available for parties (matriculation parties, year-end parties, bachelor parties, etc.). NO MUSIC IS ALLOWED, as it disturbs
Do game viewing in your own vehicle or arrange a game drive in the morning or late afternoon with the Mabalingwe Reception on the day of your arrival.
There is a Spa on the reserve. Bookings and enquiries can be made upon arrival at the Mabalingwe reception.
The lodge will be cleaned and sanitised by trained staff before arrival. A daily cleaning service of about 2 hours is included.

Lodge 227 is not available for parties. We have a NO NOISE AND NO MUSIC POLICY.
The Administration fee is the breakages/key deposit of R1000.00 . This is refunded after inventory is checked and breakages deducted. This refund takes about 7 days after departure.
WE ARE READY TO ACCEPT GUESTS IN A COVID-19 WORLD. Our cleaning company are working to ensure that they meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning. We want our guests to feel confident that when they stay in our lodge, it has been cleaned and sanitised thoroughly.
