About Koos Raas Nature Reserve Walk

This easy walk is located in a 271 ha reserve and vsitors may be spoilt with sightings of springbuck, blesbok, zebra, impala, gemsbok, kudu, hartebeest, wildebeest, rhebok and ostrich. Easy walking trails have been laid out.

Take the Dordrecht road from Sterkstroom and turn right just before you get to the railway line. The gate is 3 km along a good gravel road.

There is a rest camp with chalets, electric lighting and stoves, and sites for 20 caravans and tents.

This is a one-day, circular walk.
