About Strandveld Pub
This is one stop you have to make when you are in the Overberg area. Tucked away in the small farming town of Baarskeerdersbos, Strandveld Pub is a hive of activity and local produce. Strandveld often caters for functions and is part of the Baarskeerdersbos Art Route.
The historical building was originally a school back in 1920 and has been redone to join the small communities of the area and have fun with good music and good food. The home-style food is affordable and tastes like it came from your own kitchen and braai.
The owners are very hospitable and genuinely nice people to chat to. They make sure that their guests are happy and have all they wish for. They also accommodate private functions and have been known to host the odd wedding.

From Gansbaai:• Head south on Main Road/R43 towards Fabriek Street;
• Continue to follow the R43 for 6.3 km;
• Turn left towards Protea Street and continue for 17.2 km;
• Turn left onto Protea Street;
• Turn right onto Kerk Street;
• Take the first left onto Strandveld Street.
