About Katberg Hiking Trail
Hike along the historic Katberg Pass in the Winterberg Range. The trail wanders through a spectacular landscape of rivers, waterfalls, grassland peaks, kloofs, indigenous forest and plantations. The Winterberg is home to baboon, vervet monkeys, Samango monkeys, small antelope and numerous birds. Look out for the rare Cape parrot.
