Located just 2 minutes outside the Nshara entrance gate, we’re the only budget campsite on the north side of Lake Mburo National Park.

The facility offers private bush camping spots perfect to pitch own tent, spacious tents, each permanently under their private straw-thatched roofs and elevated on concrete platforms and safari tents, each with a decked out veranda. The lazy camping tents are elevated on a concrete platform and is covered by a thatched roof. Our hand-crafted beds use raw local materials and are specially made in-house. Shared shower & toilet facilities are close by.
We have a restaurant & bar serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. We work from a set menu with a meat and vegetarian options offered for each meal. Guests can also prepare their food using our facilities. Guests can enjoy custom biking & walking safaris and game drives, both inside and outside of the national park.
Leopard rest camp also provides laundry services to all its clients. The rest camp has affordable rates, and camping will only be charged per night. The camp has a good location with an overall sight of viewing and also a good place of recreation because of the view that it provides. The camp is accompanied by the wide range of wild animals and these include Elands, Zebras, Antelopes, waterbucks and many more, especially the birds that are normally seen flying in the sky.
The rest camp is solar-powered, everything that is constructed on the camp was made by the management team and from local materials. The camp has a resident master carpenter who makes all furniture that is needed in different rooms. Lake Mburo National park gate is close to Leopard Rest Camp.
