Oppi Dam is situated at the foot of the majestic Swartberg Mountains, in the picturesque Schoemanshoek Valley, 14 km from Oudtshoorn en-route to the world famous Cango Caves.

Come and enjoy Klein Karoo hospitality and peaceful surroundings, and discover nature all over again.Accommodation is offered in self-catering chalets, and cottages. For those who prefer to be more self-sufficient, an affordable upmarket camp site is available.

Each chalet and cottage is comfortable and well equipped, and bedding and towels are provided.Each campsite has its own private ablution facility, braai, table and benches.The quiet surroundings are ideal for family getaways, and if you love nature, this is the place to be.

Oppi Dam comes in as a top 5 campsite and we've been to plenty! Well located on the way to the Cango Caves, it's a great launching spot for exploring the area as well as Route 62. Rather stay here than in other overcrowded spots in the R62 area.The spot is great, with lush lawns and trees for shade (trees available in the first set of campsites). Each site has its own bathroom and open kitchen space, all under-roof. Feels like a safe location.
