About Dunkley House
Dunkley House focuses on holiday accommodation in and around Cape Town. Located in a quaint Victorian street and set within a private and tropical walled garden, Dunkley House comprises 11 spacious en-suite bedrooms, four with their own private patios, as well as a two bedroom self-catering apartment for your own self-catering accommodation.
The owner has decorated each room individually, using contemporary colours and furniture to result in a pleasing, comfortable and stylish environment without compromising the original character of the property. Choose from the Indonesian luxury patio suite, the 80's style self-catering apartment or relax in the comfort of a leather sofa in our classic bay room. Enjoy delicious home cooked breakfasts in the dining room or on the patio beside a sparkling pool.
The old colonial shutters, sheer crisp white curtains, high ceilings and our unique mosaic floor creates an airy bright atmosphere throughout the house. All rooms have been styled to cater for the comfort of our guests, and include flat-screen televisions, CD players, tea and coffee facilities, clock-radios, telephones, hairdryers and bathroom accessories thereby your self-catering accommodation will still be luxury accommodation.
If late check out is required, there will be a levy of 50% of the night rate to be added to the total of the accommodation booked.
