I first visited Berg en Dal when it first opened many years ago so we were very keen to see what it looked like now. We were very surprised ton see how many chalets it now had.We booked a 2 bed unit [ it actually had 6 beds]First the front door could not be opened as it was latched from the inside so we entered from the sliding door which was not locked. We found the front door opened into a bed room with 2 beds in it.The third bedroom was off the kitchen with a bed either side of the fridge which would have had to be switched off if any body wanted to get any sleep there. The unit was really...

We had only one night on our tour through the Kruger: clean and handsome, everything ok !

The campsite is great and the ablutions are ample and in very good order. The staff are friendly and helpful and guidebooks and maps inform about the trip. The restaurant, however, was disappointing, both in service and product.

We camped in a tent. Very pleasant, tidy and clean. The ablution blocks are also tidy and clean. Enjoyed the walking trail with lots of animals. Will be back next year.
