About Ascot Boutique Hotel
1958 – PRESENT
The Ascot Hotel has an iconic past. Most people who remember Norwood back in the day, have very fond memories of the brand. A place where those looking for culture and fun, would mingle and enjoy live music at an exclusive Supper Club on the upper level of the hotel. As with any historical venue it has seen a number of changes, both good and bad, but ultimately today the Ascot hotel has been true to its past offerings of good food, good service and great musical entertainment.
With a new face-lift and the word “boutique” between the name Ascot Hotel – this unique tourism graded 4 star venue offers a unique home away from home experience. The streets of Norwood are still awash with interesting shops, restaurants and venues, but step into the Ascot Boutique Hotel and you are immediately transported into a space that could be placed in any City in the world. Small and compact, the restaurant and bar are tastefully decorated, the reception area is welcoming and the 15 individually decorated rooms offer each guest old school hotel comfort.
Spa: If it’s the ultimate in relaxation, guests can visit the adjoining award-winning Cherry Boutique & Spa which offers an array of treatments to pamper from top to toe.
Golf: The following golf courses are in the area; * Houghton Golf Club * Glendower Golf Club * Royal Johannesburg & Kensington Golf Club
