If you're keen for a beer, Den Anker has it all. Their selection of beers is unmatched in Cape Town, including some of the most amazing brews you can find in Europe. The food is authentically Belgium, and I am never disappointed. Along with the great views, the wonderful atmosphere, and great service, this is a must. The menu can be expensive for some, so it may be best visited for special occasions.

I’m not a beer drinker but I’ll happily sip one of the delicious beers tucked away in a quiet corner during winter – the Trappist Orval is an absolute indulgence. You can’t go wrong with their moules frites – done with beer. Next time I’ve got to try their fish soup with rouille!

Den Anker has been around for ages. Their food and beer is superb! Try the mussels and a de Koninck ale. Delicious. It's one of those restaurants that you should save up for. You will not be disappointed and the service is always excellent.
